We've Got A Good Thing Growing!

The Yorktown Grange Agricultural Society extends a heartfelt "thank you" to the volunteers, sponsors, entertainers, vendors and everyone who contributed to the success of the 2022 Yorktown Grange Fair. It was wonderful to have a great time with friends old and new.

The 2022 Fair started on a happy note on Friday evening – literally – when we welcomed The Happy Crabs to the main stage. Our buildings were chock-full of beautiful exhibits – needlework, photography, baking, art, flowers, produce and more.

And the party continued on Saturday with the tractor parade, wonderful music for the littles with Overhill Shenanigans, livestock shows, the nail driving contest and the Grange's own Tipsy Waiter contest. We hosted a great science show, strolling entertainers and more. Music from nxtime and River of Dreams rounded out a perfect, sunny day.

Even the rain on Sunday didn't dampen our spirits. The kids were delighted with Songs for Playful Children by Kurt Gallagher, the rides and play areas, and of course, the farm animals. The Keith "Bam-Bam" Michaels All-Star Jam Band really rocked the fairgrounds with a sensational three-hour music jam! The rubber chicken throwing contest was a ton of fun – it is really difficult to accurately throw a rubber chicken (who knew?).

Again we thank everyone who participated and contributed to the fair, especially you, our guests, who make it all worth while.
